What we do

We work at the intersection of three capabilities that are usually sold separately but only work together:

We help organisations build structured dialogue between leadership and the people doing the work — so that intent flows down, response flows up, and the plan adapts as it moves through the organisation.

Coaching & change support

We support people through the human side of change — building legitimate channels for disagreement, developing self-awareness, and helping individuals navigate difficult transitions.

Software engineering & AI adoption

We help engineering organisations navigate the shift to AI-augmented development — from process to practice to culture.

Our belief system

These beliefs guide every decision we make — who we work with, how we operate, and what we refuse to do.

Humans think, AI lifts.

AI should free people to do the work that requires judgment, empathy, and creativity — not replace them.

Disagreement is signal.

When people push back, they're usually telling you something you need to hear. The system must make room for it.

Intent over instruction.

Tell people what needs to be achieved and why. Let them figure out how — and listen when they respond.

The operating model is the problem.

Most organisations fail at change not because of bad strategy or bad people, but because of how work is structured and flows.

Small and deliberate beats large and busy.

A small team operating the right way will outperform a large one trapped in the wrong model.

The founder

Cartman ApS is a Copenhagen-based consulting and technology firm founded by Tete Mensa-Annan.

Tete spent over two decades at Microsoft and years inside large regulated enterprises — most recently at Novo Nordisk — navigating the exact problems we now help clients solve: the gap between what leadership intends and what the organisation actually delivers.

Cartman is deliberately small. We believe a team of 10–15 people operating the right way — where AI handles the heavy lifting and humans focus on judgment, dialogue, and decisions — will outperform a large consultancy trapped in the wrong model.
